Product Features
The metalaxyl 10% and mancozeb 48% WP is compounded by metalaxyl and mancozeb. It has dual actions of protection and treatment and does not readily cause plant resistance, coming with low residual and low toxicity to mammals. It protects against downy mildew caused by peronospora parasitica, phytophthora and pythiumsolani, downy blight of melon and vegetable as well as downy mildew of millet.

Application Scopes and Usages
1. Downy mildew and blight of cucumber
Spraying should be carried out in the early stage of disease development, and after that re-spraying is practicable every 10 to 15 days for continuous 2 to 3 times. The dosage of metalaxyl 10% and mancozeb 48% WP for each hectare is 1.2 to 1.8kg.
2. Downy mildew of cabbage and lettuce as well as late blight of tomato
First-time spraying can be applied when spots are seen on leaves of crops, and then re-spray crops every 10 to 15 days. A successive spray of 2 to 3 times is appropriate and the dosage of 2.5kg per hectare is adequate.
3. Black rot and blackleg of tobacco root
Spraying should be conducted before the development of diseases and after 15 days the second-time spray can be applied. Each hectare land needs 1.2 to 1.8kg metalaxyl+mancozeb 58%WP mixed with 750kg water. The stem base of tobacco is the key part for spray so that the solution can flow along the stem and permeate the soil of rhizosphere. Direct spraying on the root part is also tolerable.
